How To Make The Ultimate Green Smoothie

1. Ingredients for your smoothie are really what you like best. Some of my favorites are young coconuts, goji berries, cocao, maca, Natures First food, cinnamon. Adding other flavors such as vanilla, cayenne, sea veggies are also fun, just be creative enjoy!
 
2. Opening coconuts is really quite easy. Check out my how to open a coconut video in the resources section. When you do open your coconuts please keep your fingers clear of flyinf knife blades its makes for less clean up. Another option is to buy coconut water from www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com
 
3. Scoop out all the meat into your blender. Some coconuts meat is softer than others it’s all good and will blend up just fine.
 
4. When adding in cocao I like to grind it up first as it will blend in smoother. Adding whole cocoa or nibs is fine it may just be a liitle crunchier which is also kind of fun.
 
 
5. Now add goji berries ( you can also grind these up if you want) the amazing power and taste of these really make a good smoothie.
 
6. Add a pinch of cinnamon becareful too much can overpower the smoothie.
 
7. Now add your green powder, my favorite is Natures First food and there are alot of other good ones too. Try to find one with the most amount of grasses in it and raw (dried at very low tempature).
 
8. Add in a pinch of sea salt, which contains the most amount of minerals. Sea salt is very important to have in our diet as it aids in so many different functions of our body.
 
9. A great option is to add berries or fruit to create differnt flavors and consistancy to your smoothie. Berries have so many great antioxidents the will make it into a super, super smoothie.
   
10. Blend all your ingredients together until smooth and creamy. be sure to have the lid on your blender so as to not re decorate you cieling and walls, trust me I’ve done it before!
 
11. Ideally you want to drink this amazing smoothie immediatly but if you must pack it up for later it works just fine. sealing it tight keeps more of the freshness in if you must wait till later.
 
12. Green smoothies are what I start out my day with everyday. They also can be a great way to go on a liquid feast (not fast) I callit a feast because because you have the option to creat so many awesome flavores that each one is an amazing feast to enjoy all day.
